I Keep Telling Her She's Beautiful…

…but she just ain’t that kind.
Not that I dislike her growth as a character through the trilogy, but my favorite Liara will always be the awkward nerdy one from Mass Effect 1. Digging her out of Therum’s depths after she manages to lock herself inside an alien prison is one of my all time favorite moments, as well as the ensuing (and incredibly awkward/adorable) romantic story arc.
It also doesn’t help that she reminds me of :devliquidfire3: to an almost creepy degree in terms of her attitude.
She’s always struck me as one of those girls when you tell her she’s beautiful, she just loses language for a brief moment and tries to change the topic. :D So here we are.
