Sapphic Sovereigns

To kick off our valentines adventures for this year, I have a group piece with my favorite princesses from the Mario universe. Because of course I do. Honestly getting some of the Mushroom Kingdom’s top ladies together in a room and having them bang is practically a yearly tradition around here. I should probably try and mix it up a little next year. >__>

But anyway! I brought it back once more this year because I randomly got the idea, and I cannot for the life of me remember where or why, but I got the idea in my head to create a room behind the enormous Peach window on the front of her castle in the classic Mario 64 iteration of it (and Mario Kart if you wanna be a pedant) and I absolutely love what I was able to do with the light scattering from the various panels of glass. It turned out simply lovely. <3
