You Wanna Play With Magic?

Got the idea for this while listening to Dark Horse quite a while back. This one went through so many revisions. I initially tried to render this one in sort of a pseudo Citadel room, something like the walk-around area from Mass Effect 1. Just wasn’t working out, I couldn’t get the lighting to do what I wanted and my citadel bulkheads just looked like crap.

Eventually I settled on the fish tank in Shepard’s cabin to make it happen, and wasn’t disappointed. There was still a ton of post work in this one, though, to get the overall look correct. Much more than usual for me anyway.
